Course Description

The ability to write Python scripts is extremely valuable for security professionals.  With a solid understanding of Python, you can automate repetitive tasks, extract and analyze otherwise inaccessible data and much more.  This 32 hour course is intended for people who have never coded before and by the end of the course, the students will be able to write basic analytic scripts.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Use python to automate analytic processes
  • Read and manipulate tabular data
  • Break an analytic problem down into steps and implement that in python
