Course Description

This course provides the student with an overview of the Security+ certification and strategies for taking the test. Students will learn the six categories covered in the Security+ certification: Threats, Attacks and Vulnerabilities, Technologies and Tools, Architecture and Design, Identity and Access Management, Risk Management, and Cryptography and PKI. Upon successful course completion, students will be prepared to sit for the Security+ certification exam.

Review content for attacks, threats, and vulnerabilities as they apply to the Security+ certification exam. Review content for architecture and design as they apply to the Security+ certification exam. Review content for implementation as they apply to the Security+ certification exam. Review content for operations and incident response as they apply to the Security+ certification exam. Review content for governance, risk, and compliance as they apply to the Security+ certification exam.
