Course Description

This course explores penetration testing skills needed to assess vulnerabilities of in-house, cloud centric and hybrid environments. Coursework is designed to develop students’ ability to scan and analyze the state of organization, and to plan, scope and manage weaknesses.

Learning Objectives

  • Students learn to understand penetration testing principles and planning processes, perform information gathering and vulnerability scanning, analyze vulnerabilities and prepare for exploitation, apply network exploitation and social engineering techniques, exploit applications and specialized systems vulnerabilities, and write reports and automate penetration testing.
