Course Description

This Capture the Flag (CTF) is a “King of the Hill” style competition, which incorporates both red and blue team skills for each team. Each competitor is given an environment with a single Kali virtual machine instance that is used to access the shared environment. The shared environment houses the “hill” which is made up of several vulnerable systems. The goal is to compromise the systems in the hill and plant your team flag. Once a flag is planted, that team will accrue points. However, another team can gain access, overwrite the flag, and then take over the machine. Thus, once a machine is claimed, it must be secured to prevent other teams from gaining access.
