This course will cover the basics of Python scripting and then focus on developing scripts that could be used for security testing, data analysis or other routine tasks for an IT professional.
Learning Objectives
- Develop custom scripts using the Python programming language to generate high volume attack traffic in order to test for vulnerabilities.
- Develop Python scripts to perform data analysis from log events.
- Develop Python scripts to identify potential vulnerabilities in software.
- Develop Python scripts to automate system tasks to help streamline the identification of issues that could lead to a security incident.
