Course Description

Investigating external and internal threats that compromise data and digitized intellectual property. Implementing effective policies for mitigating risks and security and remediation measures in organizations.

  1. Explain information security issues across an organization, including policy, planning, technologies, and audit procedures
  2. Identify business drivers for information security
  3. Discuss legal and regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and privacy considerations
  4. Conduct a risk assessment outlining management's role and the decision making process
