Introduction to applications, operating systems, computer hardware, and computer programming related to uses and practices in the internet of things. Discussions will include analysis of best practices in each area that makes those systems less vulnerable to hacking or interference.
Learning Objectives
The learning objectives are to to explain the uses and opportunities involved with Internet of Things (IoT), explain the difference between privacy and security, identify common security issues related to IoT in the personal and workplace context, and identify security incidents for personal and workplace IoT devices.
