An applied introduction to network and how to design a resilient network. Different techniques will be introduced on designing secure and resilient networks.
Learning Objectives
The course aims to equip students with the ability to identify and apply the fundamental concepts of network security, including understanding threats and vulnerabilities to create resilient networks. Students will analyze and evaluate technical aspects used to protect and increase network security, and identify threat management and proactive security strategies. Additionally, the course will evaluate network security concepts through legal, policy, and governance lenses and teach the use of network hardening tactics, techniques, and procedures to analyze their effectiveness.
