Network Security Management
This course examines network and web security issues including: risks and threats, system access points, hardware and software defense methods, and organizational security policies. Labs will require students to analyze systems for potential threats, implement security procedures, monitor systems for security breaches, and institute recovery or repairs.

Learning Objectives
- Describe network environments and operational characteristics that are exposed to threats
- Describe basic components of network environments that provide basic security/authentication services
- Describe areas that require/benefit from security procedures such as: authentication, integrity, confidentiality, availability, and non-repudiation

- Describe the types of attack methods that have been used against networks
