About Us
The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Careers and Studies (NICCS) website is the premier online resource for cybersecurity training, education, and career information. Originally initiated under the Department of Homeland Security in 2013, NICCS has been part of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) since its creation in 2018.
As technology advances, the United States must develop a workforce of effective cybersecurity professionals. NICCS promotes cybersecurity awareness, training, education, and career advancement with the added goal of broadening the Nation’s volume of cybersecurity professionals in the workforce through the resources, information, and interactive tools on the website.
