A network comprises all the hardware and software components involved in connecting computers across small and large distances. An internetwork is a collection of independent networks connected by different networking devices. A computer network refers to a set of different computers connected using networking devices like routers, switches, or hubs. Each computer in the network is configured using a protocol for communication. The computers can be connected by LAN, WAN, token ring, or FDDI. This course explains the basic principles of network related to architecture, operations and security.
