CISSP-ISSAP

This ISC²® training course is available online and in-person. The five-day instructor-led training experience prepares attendees for the CISSP-ISSAP certification exam. Candidates who attain this certification often have responsibilities ranging from C-suite to upper management in the implementation of security programs. Although their roles are intimately aligned with technology, a large part of their role entails the analytical consulting process of information security.

This course is intended for information security professionals with two or more years of work experience focusing on architecture such as:

  • Chief Security Architects and Analysts who design, develop and analyze security plans and implementation for organizations

Recommended Experience

Before attending this course, students should have:

  • Two or more years of profesional work experience in IT security with a concentration in architecture
  • Understanding of concepts in CompTIA's Security+ certification training
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP and UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems

Learning Objectives

The objectives of this course include access control systems and methodology, communications and network security, cryptography, security architecture analysis, technology related Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), physical security considerations. This course will also prepare students for the CISSP-ISSAP exam.
