Course Overview
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Describe and explain the Cisco Hierarchical Network Design Model as evidenced by the completion of theoretical examples and testing.
- Configure and analyze the concepts behind network management technologies, to include, TELNET, SSH, SYSLOG, SSH, AAA, SNMP, NetFlow and HSRP technologies as evidenced by hands-on small group laboratory activities and theoretical testing.
- Describe, configure and troubleshoot the fundamental concepts associated with enhanced switching technologies, to include, DTP, VTP STP, EtherChannel and Multi-Layer Switching technologies as evidenced by hands-on small group laboratory activities and theoretical testing.
- Describe, configure and troubleshoot the fundamental concepts associated with enhanced routing technologies, to include Multi-Area OSPF, eBGP and redistributing routing protocols
- Describe, configure and troubleshoot the fundamental concepts associated with WAN communication technologies, specifically, PPP, CHAP, PAP, PPOE, GRE VPN and Frame Relay technologies as evidenced by hands-on small group laboratory activities and theoretical testing.
