The CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) is a vendor-neutral, in-depth certification that validates your knowledge and skills in enterprise security, risk management, research and analysis, and the integration of computing, communications and business disciplines. This exam preparation course provides in-depth review of the five domains included in the exam. Demonstrations and practice exams reinforce the concepts and provide the framework for a personalized study plan for exam success.
The CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent experience is highly recommended. It is highly recommended that you have 10 years of IT administration experience, including at least five years of hands-on technical security experience, prior to taking this course. It is also helpful to have significant experience in networking and security.
You should have familiarity with: Analyzing logs, Risk assessment, Hardening systems, Network management, Defensive applications and protocols.
