This course provides essential information to anyone designing, creating or maintaining a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and leveraging PKI to provide authentication and/or encryption for applications. Attendees gain experience managing hierarchical Certification Authorities (CAs) and X.509 digital certificates.
Familiarity with security issues at the level of Course 468, System and Network Security Introduction, is recommended. Additionally, it is assumed attendee has experience using the Windows operating system.
