Learning Objectives
Learning Objectives|At the conclusion of the course students will be able to:|Employ a range of technical skills to access the Dark Web through the TOR browser, recognising the methodical and technical fundamentals that underpin rigorous Dark Web analysis and reporting|Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the principles behind the Dark Web and digital currency transactions, identifying illegal transactions, methods of tracking and regulation|Conduct research and use navigation techniques effectively to investigate web pages and hidden content and then prepare a common briefing format which can impart knowledge gained from the Dark Web investigation to others|Understand the role of the Ethical Hacker|Understand the relationship between the criminal and their use of the dark web to assist in their illegal activities which include drugs, weapons, human trafficking and sexual exploitation, theft of personal data and cyber breaches|What is included?|On successful completion of the course students will receive| An Ulster University Certificate and 4.5 US Department of Education recognised Higher Education credit points which equate to 20 UK University CPE/CPD points|Accredited digital study material|Access to our University Blackboard Training platform|Access to our peer noticeboard|Students' successful completion of our three courses in this series will see a further award of a University Certificate in Continuous Professional Development.
