Routing - CCNA 2

Provides classroom and lab experience in current and emerging networking technology. Includes the following networking concepts and technologies: OSI reference model, LANs, WANs, TCP/IP addressing, routers, router configuration, routed and routing protocols, Internetwork Open System (IOS) images and network troubleshooting. Students will become familiar with the use of commands and protocols that are used when configuring networks and will learn how to troubleshoot a multi-router topology.

Learning Objectives

Examine router elements (RAM, ROM, CDP, Show).
Manage configuration files from the privileged exec mode.
Control router passwords, identification, and banner.
Identify the main IOS software commands for router setup.
Log in to a router in both user and privileged modes.
Use the command history and editing features.
Identify the parts in specific protocol address examples.
Configure IP addresses.
Prepare the initial configuration of your router.
Choose the correct routing protocol for your configuration.
