Learning Objectives

  • Students learn to understand the principles of information security management, discuss professional ethics and relevant law related to Information Security, explain the governance and strategic planning for Information Security, describe the process of developing and implementing Information Security policies and programs, describe risk management techniques and evaluate risk control alternatives, recommend and customize an information security model as well as security management practice, prepare and execute contingency planning, build a full security maintenance program, and evaluate and manage technical control systems.
