Learning Objectives

  • Students learn to develop an understanding of the three axioms of Information Security, ensure that the organization's privacy protection strategies are fully integrated with and support its overall mission and objectives, ensure that the organization's adopted policies and standards comply with relevant regulatory requirements and align with its operational practices, implement and manage security controls that automatically ensure the protection of data, utilize ethical principles and legal standards to effectively manager the protection of information asset, and understand and explain the impact of privacy concerns in the workplace, including how privacy policies, data protection, and employee confidentiality affect organizational operations, employee rights, and business practices.
