CompTIA Network+

CompTIA Network+ validates the technical skills needed to securely establish, maintain and troubleshoot the essential networks that businesses rely on. This course prepares candidates to support networks on any platform and teaches the fundamental principles of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network technologies to help you to progress a career in network administration. CompTIA Network+ is the only certification that covers the specific skills that network professionals need.

Course Prerequisites
  • Know how to configure and support PC, laptop, mobile (smartphone / tablet), and print devices.
  • Know basic network terminology and functions (such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, switches, routers).
  • Configure and manage users, groups, and shared resources in a simple SOHO network.
  • Understand the use of basic access control measures, such as authentication, security policy, encryption, and firewalls.
  • Understand TCP/IP addressing, core protocols and troubleshooting tools.
  • It is not necessary that you pass the A+ exams before completing Network+ certification, but it is recommended.
