Learning Objectives

At the end of the course students will be able to

1. Perform numeric and text-oriented calculations from the command line.

2. Write programs that use lists, tuples, dictionaries, and sets to organize data.

3. Write programs that use libraries or modules to perform common computational and scripting activities.

4. Process log files and other text-oriented inputs using regular expressions.
