New on NICCS – 2025 Site Refresh
The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Careers and Studies (NICCS) website has the same great resources, but with a new look, additional UI/UX elements, and even more information to share! With redesigned navigation and pages, updated features on the interactive tools, new content and graphics, and more, the refreshed NICCS website has something for everyone.
The site features a new navigation structure that organizes tools and resources into several different menu options: Cybersecurity by Audience, Training, Interactive Tools, Resources, and News & Events. These menus are designed to help you quickly and easily find the information you need. Whether you are looking for information for a specific audience type, training opportunities, interactive tools to explore careers or workforce development, or cybersecurity-related events and news, the updated navigation has you covered.
In addition to updated navigation, NICCS is also thrilled to share several new updates to pages, tools, and content. Here are a few highlights to check out:
- Cybersecurity for Beginners Page: New page with information and guidance for individuals who are just getting started in cybersecurity.
- PDF Guides and Downloadable Resources: New NICCS informational materials like fact sheets, slide decks, and talking points as well as updated Veterans User Guide and Veterans Champion Communications Manual.
- Restructured Interactive Tools: Redesigned tools updated to incorporate NICE Framework Component updates and new Cyber Career Pathways Tool and Education & Training Catalog features and functions.
- Updated Cybersecurity for Students Content: Updated page with checklist to help students get started in cyber and new career profiles from cyber.org.
