Course Description

The PMI training is the first step for professionals pursuing a career in project management. The introductory Project Management Institute (PMI) course supplies professionals with the recognized project management best practices to establish entry-level experience. Course topics include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise (finance, marketing, customer care, fulfillment, processing)
  • Serving as project team sponsors, liaisons, facilitators or coordinators

Learning Objectives

This course prepares students for the CAP certification exam. Upon course completion students should have a thorough understanding of: The Risk Management Framework (RMF), Categorizing Different Information Systems, Selecting Security Controls, Implementing Security Controls, Assessing Security Controls, Authorizing Information Systems, and Monitoring Security Controls.
