The course provides an important introduction to the Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing services which have grown to support IT infrastructure worldwide. Students will learn how to administer Azure virtual computing, storage, networking, security, web services and more. Successful completion of this course prepares students to take the AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the quarter the successful student will be able to: Understand the Azure Cloud services and global infrastructure model. Apply security measures to the Azure Cloud, including Azure authentication and authorization. Implement a virtual private cloud using Azure Virtual Networks. Implement and manage cloud storage with Azure Storage Accounts. Implement Azure Governance - Introduction to tags and applying policies. Configure Azure Monitoring and system performance metrics. Understand Azure Service Level Agreements (SLA) and troubleshooting
