This course presents a strategic understanding of Federal budgeting and appropriations, with particular attention to the role of the White House and the Congress.
Learning Objectives
- Develop leadership strategies to shape the fiscal environment to achieve agency outcomes.
- Impact of current fiscal issues including competition between discretionary and nondiscretionary and likely impact upon agency activities, interaction between agency, executive, and Congressional committees in developing a budget and gaining an appropriation.
