Course Description

This course advances students knowledge of penetration testing, network vulnerabilities, and hacking. Topics include analyzing advanced techniques for circumventing network security hardware and software. Upon completion, students should be able to assemble test kits for multiple operating systems, scan and footprint networks, and perform advanced forensic investigation.

Learning Objectives

  • Creating a penetration testing virtual lab
  • Using Kali Linux, programming, and Metasploit Framework
  • Perform information gathering, finding vulnerabilities, capturing traffic
  • Perform network penetration attacks, exploitation, password, client side, social engineering, bypassing antivirus applications, post exploitation, web application testing, wireless attacks
