Course Description

This disaster recovery training course will provide students with an introduction to business continuity plans (BCP) and disaster recovery plans (DRP), the difference between them and the thought process towards performing a business impact analysis (BIA). In this course, students will not only learn about the five layers of risk and how to effectively perform a risk assessment, but they will also have the hands-on opportunity to create their own Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.

- Explain the parts of a BCP
- Explain the parts of a DRP
- Create a BCP and DRP
