Course Description

This practitioner-focused course is designed to prepare students for a career in cyber security operations and incident response. Attendees will have up to 45 days to complete at least ten (10) skill- and knowledge-based incident response scenarios in addition to attending an end-of-course masterclass session where they will be coached on how to break into the field of cyber security.

Learning Objectives

Familiarity with various cybersecurity technologies, Good knowledge of the day-to-day duties of a security operations center (SOC) analyst, Knowledge of incident response, cyber attack stages and adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures, skilled in incident detection, analysis, containment, and eradication, ability to perform network packet analysis, and trend analysis using security events data.
