Course Description

This practitioner-focused course is designed to help students break into the field of cybersecurity within the shortest possible time without taking a short cut. Students who meet course completion criteria will be awarded a shareable certified cyber defense analyst certificate and digital badge, which will contain information about their newly acquired knowledge and skills.

Excellent understanding of the role of Governance, Risk Management and Compliance in cybersecurity, Good knowledge of the day-to-day duties of a security operations center (SOC) analyst, Knowledge of incident response, cyber attack stages and adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures, skilled in incident detection, analysis, containment, and eradication, ability to perform network packet analysis, and trend analysis using security events data, and Students will gain the confidence and competence needed to begin their career as security analysts
