This course provides an introduction and overview into fiber optics. Students will learn about applications, installations, and communication systems related to fiber optics. Students will also learn about splicing, terminating, and testing of fiber optic cable. This course is mapped to the CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) certification, by The Fiber Optic Association.
