Course Description

Develops the knowledge and skills necessary to identify the critical components of the major security domains including: network security; compliance and operational security; vulnerabilities and threats; application, data, and host security; cryptography; .and access control and identity management.

At the end of the course students will be able to

1. Describe the different characteristics of security components.

2. Identify the major security issues facing organizations in a global environment.

3. Apply industry best practices in formulating security policies and procedures.

4. Assess organizational risk related factors.
