CISA Learning - CISA’s new Learning Management System will replace the Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE) along with multiple other platforms. CISA Learning will be the go-to learning platform CISA staff, contractors and external partners. CISA Learning will continue to offer the same no cost online cybersecurity training as FedVTE on topics such as cloud security, ethical hacking and surveillance, risk management, malware analysis, and more.
When will CISA Learning be available?
Our rollout schedule will begin with sunsetting FedVTE and providing access to our external users:
- November 11th, 6PM EST: Last day to access FedVTE
- November 15th (approximate): Non-CISA users can access CISA Learning
- Subsequent Weeks: Rollout to CISA staff and Contractors
CISA Learning is available for:
- Federal government employees and contractors
- State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) government employees
- U.S. military personnel and Veterans
- General public
CISA Learning offers:
All the same great content from FedVTE will be offered on CISA Learning.
- Courses for all proficiency levels from beginner to advanced
- 850 hours of training mapped to the NICE Framework
- Certification prep courses on topics such as Ethical Hacking, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- The ability to work at your own pace from any computer or mobile device
- Non-CISA users will access CISA Learning via Login.gov, a secure government site.
- While Login.gov uses personal identifiable information (PII) for verification, this information is not shared with or captured in CISA Learning.
