CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

SecureNinja's CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) training equips students with the skills to proactively defend and continuously improve the security of organizational systems. The course emphasizes threat detection, behavioral analytics, and vulnerability management in enterprise environments. Students will learn how to perform data analysis, interpret results to identify threats, and configure threat detection tools. Topics also include incident response, compliance, and reporting procedures. CySA+ fills the gap between foundational certifications like Security+ and advanced credentials such as CASP+ or CISSP. The course is ideal for analysts, threat hunters, and SOC team members looking to validate their hands-on defense capabilities. Training is available in person in our Alexandria, VA classrooms as well as Live Online. Private onsite training is also available for groups of 5 or more.

Course Prerequisites

It is recommended that students have a CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge, along with 3Ð4 years of hands-on information security or related experience. Familiarity with network security, security operations, and basic scripting is beneficial for success in this course.

Learning Objectives

This course prepares students for the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) exam. Students will learn to use behavioral analytics and threat intelligence to identify and combat cybersecurity threats.
