Course Description

Students in this course examine the systems integration approaches used by today’s information technology organizations to learn what makes them more effective, efficient, and competitive. They explore the functions of enterprise application integration (EAI) practices, middleware models, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) integration challenges, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and integration using cloud computing.

Learning Objectives

Through a hands-on approach, students learn to solve an integration problem by designing an appropriate architecture.
