Course Description

This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and concepts of the Linux operating system, including command line functions, file systems, user and group administration, process management, text editors, and network applications. This course helps students prepare for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.

Learning Objectives

Understand, utilize and explain the Command Line using Bash Shell, Manage Files, Help in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Managing Users and Groups, Permissions, Monitor and Manage Linux Processes, Controlling Services and Daemons, Configuring and Securing OpenSSH Service, Analyzing and Storing Logs, Managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux Networking, Installing and Updating Software Packages, including Using Virtualized Systems.
