Course Description

In this course, you'll review how to successfully join a domain and add an identity source using the vSphere Client. You'll learn how to join the vCenter Server Appliance to a Windows Active Directory Domain and then add the domain as an identity source for single sign-on use. Next, you'll explore the roles and permissions necessary to enable access to objects in vCenter and how they work together to help secure your vCenter Server Appliance and all of the objects managed by it. Next, you'll learn the importance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans to your organization. You'll also see how to back up the vCenter Server Appliance using the vCenter Management Interface. This course is one in a series that helps prepare learners for the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2021 (VCP-DCV 2021) exam.
