Course Description

Scrum is a product development framework that exists within the Agile methodology. Though each framework within the Agile methodology differs, Scrum has many commonalities with other approaches, including Lean.

In this course, learn about Lean, including its key pillars, principles, and core concepts that can also be applied to Scrum. Next, discover the different types of product development waste and best practices for applying Lean thinking to product development. Finally, explore some common pitfalls of Lean to consider when applying Lean to product development.

After course completion, you'll be able to outline the key concepts and best practices of methodologies that are similar to Scrum.
