Course Description
Cloud elasticity is largely based on the ability to assign and revoke memory and CPU resources. In this course, you will learn about virtualization memory allocation technologies, how to assign memory in the cloud, how to virtualize CPU allocation, assign CPU resources in the cloud, and how to identify hidden costs of cloud computing resource allocation. As a scenario exercise, you will determine memory and CPU configuration for a hypothetical company that would like to deploy a new order-entry web service in the cloud.
