Course Description

Discover how to configure Azure network components to support cloud-based IT solutions, in preparation for AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification exam, in this 16-video course. Explore VNet (virtual network) and subnet creation by using Azure Portal, PowerShell, and Azure CLI (command-line interface). Key concepts covered in this course include the many different Azure network components; learning to use the portal to create a VNet and to create a subnet; and learning to use PowerShell to create a VNet and to create a subnet. Next, learn to use Azure CLI to create a VNet and to create a subnet; how to create a public IP address using the portal; how to configure a VNet firewall using the portal; and how to create a custom routing table entry. Then learn to enable VNet custom DNS servers; learn to link VNets directly together using peering; and how to create and associate a virtual network interface. Finally, learn how to create and associate a network security group.
