Course Description

In this 10-video course, discover how to manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) by adding data disks, adding and removing network interfaces, resizing and moving VMs, and redeploying Windows and Linux VMs in preparation for the Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-103) exam. Begin by adding a data disk to your Windows VM in the Azure portal; then add a data disk to a Linux VM in Azure PowerShell. Next, you will learn how to add and remove network interfaces from Azure VM, and how to resize your VM with the Azure portal. You will then look at moving your VM to another resource group, region, or availability zone; learn how to redeploy a Windows VM to a new Azure node, and redeploy a Linux VM to a new Azure node. Conclude the course by exploring how to use the Custom Script Extension for Windows and Linux. In the closing exercise, you will add and configure a data disk for a Windows and Linux VM, move a VM to a different resource group, and resize a VM.
