Course Description

In this course, learners will discover how to plan Office 365 workload deployments, including planning hybrid configurations, workload data flow, and Microsoft 365 workload connectivity. This 14-video course can be used in preparation for the MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services certification exam. Begin by examining Hybrid Modern Authentication (HMA) and prerequisites for implementing HMA for Skype for Business and Exchange Server. Learn how to enable HMA by using the Exchange Management shell. Next, examine the Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL) and how it is used with HMA. Learn how to use the Exchange Management shell to disable HMA for Exchange, then how to use the Skype for Business Management shell to disable HMA. Explore prerequisites for hybrid deployments; the Exchange tools and services for hybrid deployments; and learn how to plan for hybrid connectivity between Skype for Business Server and Office 365. Examine considerations useful when planning a SharePoint Server hybrid solution; key points to remember when planning a network assessment for Office 365; and finally, how to tune Office 365 performance.
