Course Description

In this challenge, you will manage storage on a VMware ESXi host. First, you will configure a new virtual switch that contains a VMkernel port for storage traffic, and then you will add a Network Filesystem Storage (NFS) datastore to a host. Next, you will configure the software iSCSI adapter on the host, and then you will create a Virtual Machine File Share (VMFS) datastore. Finally, you will extend a VMFS datastore to span across multiple LUNs and expand a VMFS datastore to increase available space, and then you will upload a file to a folder in a datastore. Note: Once you begin the challenge, you will not be able to pause, save, or exit and then return to your challenge. Please ensure that you have set aside enough time to complete the challenge before you start.
