The course covers Enterprise Continuity Planning, a methodology used to create and validate a plan for maintaining continuous business operations before, during, and after disasters or disruptive events. It also covers Disaster Recovery,stopping the effects of disasters, and addressing the immediate aftermath.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: 1) Distinguish business continuity and disaster recovery, and types of disaster; 2) Perform business risk assessment; 3) Evaluate financial and business impacts of disasters; 4) Develop a mitigation strategy; 5) Create and maintain successful business continuity and disaster recovery plans; 6) Explain crisis communications, emergency response processes; 7) Perform BC/DC testing and auditing
