Course Description

This course will help highly technical cybersecurity specialists gain a more detailed understanding of the evolutionary and revolutionary aspects of cybersecurity threats. Based upon GTRIs Emerging Threats and Countermeasures teams daily analysis of hundreds of thousands of malware-based threats, the course will provide insight into cutting edge malware delivery, malware exploitation, and threat mitigation.

Learning Objectives

  1. Develop knowledge and skills for cutting edge threat tactics, techniques, and procedures to more effectively identify and mitigate advanced attacks
  2. . Compare and contrast traditional techniques with novel ones, extrapolating likely areas for future technique evolution
  3. Examine methods for detecting and preventing advanced attacks from being realized within participant organizations
  4. Outline ideal sources for continued information and technique discovery outside of the classroom
