In this course, students explore current trends in cybersecurity. Learners differentiate between the current industry trends and explore the technology being used for each tool. Learners will demonstrate their skills in researching current cybersecurity software and hardware technology. Students will use multi medias to explore security topics and understand how to utilize the technologies. This course will consist of multiple security lab sites and various current event options. Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to identify the latest technologies used by cybersecurity experts to defend their systems.
