ITIL Foundations is a globally recognized framework of best practices for IT service management. It introduces key elements, concepts, and terminology used in the ITIL framework. The ITIL Foundation certification demonstrates basic proficiency with key ITIL concepts and terminology. It also provides a holistic view of how to contribute to business value and leverage concepts from models such as Lean IT, Agile, DevOps, and Organizational Change Management.
