Course Description

This course will explain how to view and analyze an extended email header and how to exploit that information to further an investigation.  Key topics covered in this course are: defining email headers; how to display extended/full headers; how to identify relevant investigative information contained in the extended header; how to locate the originating IP address, date, and time stamp in an email header; and how to do an IP lookup.
