This course provides an overview of information governance (IG) and how to launch, control and manage IG programs. Major components of IG are covered, including risk management; compliance; business operations; law and e-discovery; records management; information technology; privacy; and cybersecurity.
Learning Objectives
- Students learn to understand Organizational Governance Structure, establish Data Classification and Sharing Guidelines, conduct Business Impact Analysis, apply Regulatory Frameworks to Organizational Operations, implement Compliance Requirements Across the Organization, evaluate Risk Management Framework, and develop and Evaluate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
