Course Description

This course presents technologies and procedures to combat internal and external threats to an organization's security. Students explore cloud-based tools and services to help businesses and other entities enhance the security of their infrastructure.

Learning Objectives

  • Students learn to describe the design concepts of a secure cloud computing environment, utilize data classification principles in a cloud storage architecture, describe risk sharing in a managed service environment, explain cloud application security, explore physical, logical operations security and management, and explore legal and compliance ramifications of cloud computing.
