Course Description

The Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR: Prevention and Deployment course helps students gain in-depth knowledge about how to configure and manage a Palo Alto Networks Panorama management server. Administrators who complete this course should become familiar with the Panorama management
server’s role in managing and securing the overall network. Network professionals will be shown how to
use Panorama aggregated reporting to provide themselves with a holistic view of a network of Palo Alto
Networks Next-Generation Firewalls.

Learning Objectives

Successful completion of this course will enable students to:

  • Differentiate the architecture and components of Cortex XDR and work with the Cortex XDR management console
  • Differentiate exploit and malware attacks, describe how Cortex XDR blocks them, and perform appropriate response actions
  • Describe the Cortex XDR causality analysis and analytics concepts
  • Manage Cortex XDR rules and investigate threats through the Query Center
